A red carpet number - Gauri’s gown was inspired by the pleating on saris and old Hollywood glamour. The dress has a sixties look fitted bodice with spaghetti straps and low back. The pleated draped skirt overlay is detachable and can be removed to reveal a body skimming sheath style dress underneath. Gold sequinned motifs are sprinkled around the hem edge and bodice for extra sparkle. The gold fabric of the skirt was fully lined in black silk for dramatic contrast.
